According to reports, the Calcutta High Court of West Bengal has ordered a CBI inquiry into the rape and murder case of a junior doctor of Rajikar Medical College and Hospital. The court has ordered the police investigating the incident to immediately hand over all the documents to the CBI.
The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday heard several petitions related to the murder and rape of a post-graduate trainee doctor at the government RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. During this, the division bench of the Chief Justice heard the arguments of both the parties. Meanwhile, the court cancelled the new appointment of the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital by the state government in another institution.
