CBI has summoned SP chief Akhilesh Yadav. CBI has called him for questioning in Delhi on 29th February i.e. tomorrow in the illegal mining case. Akhilesh will appear as a witness in this case. This case of illegal mining happened in Hamirpur between 2012-2016. In January 2019, CBI had arrested the famous IAS officer B. FIR was registered against 11 people including Chandrakala. CBI has sent summons to Akhilesh Yadav under 160 CrPC. This section empowers the CBI to call any person above 18 years of age as a witness for the investigation.
