New Delhi, August 01 (HS). The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested four accused including a beldar, mate of North Municipal Corporation and two middlemen of Nangloi sub-registrar office in two separate cases of bribery. CBI gave this information on Thursday. According to CBI, this arrest has been made while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 65,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively from the complainant.
According to the CBI, a case was registered against the accused Beldar Rajkumar of North Municipal Corporation on the allegation that the accused had demanded a bribe of Rs 70,000 from the complainant to grant permission for the construction of his house in Nihal Vihar, Shahdara North. After negotiations, the accused agreed to take a bribe of Rs 65,000.
CBI laid a trap and caught North MCD accused Beldar Rajkumar and Mate Ajay Kumar Goswami red handed while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 65,000 from the complainant.
According to CBI, the second case was registered by CBI against an accused broker Kishan Rana alias Pawan Rana working in the office of Sub-Registrar Nangloi Delhi, wherein it was alleged that the accused had demanded a bribe of Rs 30,000 from the complainant to facilitate execution of gift deed by using his personal influence over the Sub-Registrar. After negotiation, the accused agreed to accept a bribe of Rs 25,000. CBI arrested the accused broker Kishan Rana alias Pawan Rana along with another broker Bhela while demanding and accepting the bribe.
