At around 9 pm, the CBI team left for Lucknow with the manager and the contract worker.

Manish Gupta, son of Rambharosa Gupta, a resident of Lagada village of Bariyarpur police station area, was worried about getting KCC made on his agricultural land. He had talked to the manager several times for this. The bank employees were harassing him by calling him to the branch again and again. Even after running around for several months, the bank employees and the manager did not get the KCC made. Recently, the bank branch manager demanded three and a half thousand rupees to get the KCC made. On this, Manish Gupta contacted the CBI anti-corruption team in Lucknow and complained about it. Members of the CBI team reached Ghuswa intersection on Friday under the leadership of DSP Amit Rathi and contacted Manish Gupta and asked him to give the money to the bank manager. As per their instructions, Manish went to the branch and asked the manager to give Rs 3500.

According to the information, on this, the branch manager Prince Jaiswal asked Anup Kumar, posted as a contract worker in the fourth class post in the bank, to give the money. As soon as Manish Gupta gave the money to the contract worker Anup, a five-member team of CBI caught him. During the interrogation by the CBI team, the contract worker told that the branch manager had asked him to keep the money. After this, the CBI took the branch manager and the contract worker into custody. The CBI locked the bank from inside after taking out the account holders and other people present in the bank. After this, the team interrogated both of them for about eight hours. The CBI searched the records of the bank. The team members also examined the CCTV cameras installed in the branch and other records of KCC. After this, at around nine o'clock in the night, the CBI left for Lucknow with the bank manager and the contract worker.
