Cases of AC fires are increasing in the country, if you want to avoid it, you should never make these 4 mistakes

Air conditioner short circuit: The heat is increasing in the whole country as if it is taking enmity with someone. In some parts of India, the temperature has reached above 50 degrees Celsius. Which is being described as record breaking. In this scorching heat, coolers and ACs are also not working properly. Apart from this, there is also a risk of machine damage due to excessive heat and there have been reports of fire in AC at many places. Most of the incidents of fire in summer are due to short circuit. All this happens due to electrical overload and overheating of the equipment.

Leaving the AC on continuously is dangerous

In the ever increasing heat, everyone wants to work sitting in an air conditioner all day. That's why people keep the AC on all the time and do not think that it is also a machine and it should also be given rest, but if you do not give it rest then it will heat up. Most of the time we all make this mistake. If the AC is kept on continuously then it heats up quickly and it can cause a fire. That's why the AC should be turned off for some time in between, so that the machine keeps cooling down.

Filter

We always want to work sitting in AC. And we keep getting cool air from it for a month. But there are many people who do not pay attention to the AC filter. And a thick layer of dust accumulates on the AC filter. Then it takes a lot of effort to clean it and this also heats up the AC. Therefore, it is advisable to keep cleaning the AC filter from time to time.

Cleaning the outdoor unit

An outdoor unit of split AC is installed on the terrace or balcony. So leaves or any debris can easily enter it and then it gets stuck somewhere. If the air of the outdoor unit gets blocked, it gets heated quickly. So clean the garbage very easily with a pipe or spray water.

lack of space

You should particularly check that wherever the outdoor unit is placed, there should be at least 2 feet of free space around it for air flow.

Extension Board

It is very important to have a separate circuit for any type of air conditioner. Therefore, it is advisable that the AC should never be run by connecting it to an extension board or wire. Doing so puts more load on the circuit, and can cause overheating. Which can cause a short circuit or fire.
