Case registered against three for fraud of Rs 22 lakh in the name of selling land

Moradabad, 25 October (Hindustan Reporter). On Friday, the police have registered a case against three people in the case of fraud of Rs 22 lakh in the name of selling land in Majhola police station area and threatening to kill.

Pankaj Saini, resident of Kundanpur, across the line of Majhola, filed a case against Sanjay, Vipin and Gopal in Majhola police station for cheating and threatening to kill. He told that he had purchased a land in the name of his wife and aunt Rita. The named accused had taken Rs 22 lakh for this land. After getting the deed of sale done, it was revealed that the accused had already sold this land to some other person.

The victim says that when he complained about this matter to the police, the accused started threatening to kill him. He flatly refused to return the amount. Police area officer Civil Line Arpit Kapoor said that on the basis of the complaint, a case was registered against the accused on Friday and investigation was started.
