The 112 police team was attacked in Bariyaria village of Sangrampur police station area of the district, in which police personnel were injured while the vehicle was also damaged with sticks and stones. The police team has arrested the main accused Mukesh Yadav. PTC Saroj Kumar of the police team has filed an FIR against 30 to 35 unknown people including seven named people by submitting an application in the local police station.
It is said in the application that a call was received on 112 from Bariyaria village that a thief has entered someone's house. When the team reached on this information, Mukesh Yadav and his seven associates and 30 to 35 unknown people attacked the police team as part of a conspiracy and threw sticks and stones with the intention of damaging the vehicle, due to which the glass of the vehicle broke.
Police station in-charge Dheeraj Kumar Singh said on Tuesday that after registering an FIR, the main accused of attacking the team, Mukesh Yadav of Bariyaria village, was arrested and sent to jail in the judicial district. Raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining accused and unknown people are being identified. Soon other accused will be in police custody.
