Mumbai Police has got another success in the firing case at the house of Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Mumbai Police has arrested an accused in the firing incident that took place last month. Officials gave this information on Tuesday. An officer said that the accused has been identified as 34-year-old Harpal Singh. The accused is said to be a resident of Fatehabad, Haryana.
The Mumbai Crime Branch team arrested the accused from his hometown on Monday evening. He told that accused Harpal Singh was brought to Mumbai early on Tuesday and he will be presented in the court today. Mumbai Police has so far arrested a total of 6 people in this case.
The officer said that Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary, another member of the notorious gangsters, had revealed Singh's involvement in the case during interrogation. Let us tell you that the police had arrested Rafiq Chaudhary in the beginning of this month. Police said Singh asked Rafiq Choudhary to do 'Reiki' around Salman Khan's residence and also paid him Rs 2 to 3 lakh for the work.
Let us tell you that on April 14, there was firing outside Salman Khan's house in Galaxy Apartment located in Bandra area of Mumbai. Two people riding a bike fired several rounds at Salman Khan's house. After the firing the accused fled from the spot. Now Mumbai Crime Branch is investigating this matter. The police have so far arrested 6 accused in this connection.
