Moradabad, 20 August (HS). A case was registered on Tuesday against three accused including a woman in connection with the death of the unborn child of a five and a half month pregnant woman during a fight between two parties over a dispute regarding children in Thana Mundhapande area. The injured woman is undergoing treatment in the district hospital.
Three days ago, there was a dispute between Veervati, a resident of Mundiya Malukpur, and the children of her neighbour Tulsi. It is alleged that Tulsi and her sons Ashok and Vishesh beat Veervati with sticks. She was five and a half months pregnant. Her health deteriorated due to the injury. The doctor at the district hospital said that the child had died, the woman's life was saved by performing an operation.
In this case, Mundhapande police station in-charge RP Sharma said that based on the complaint of the victim's brother Khempal, an FIR was lodged against the accused woman and her sons on Tuesday.
A case has been registered. Investigation into the matter has begun.
