Kerala Car Bus Collision: Five students studying MBBS died in a horrific accident in Kerala late last night. There was such a massive collision between the bus and the car that the five people traveling in it died on the spot when the car overturned. While two others suffered serious injuries.
The deceased was a student of Alappuzha Medical College
A government-owned KSRTC bus and a car collided near Odorund in Alappuzha, Kerala. In which the police had to face a lot of trouble in taking out the dead after the car overturned. The reason behind the incident is not yet known. Police suspect that due to Cyclone Fungal, there has been heavy rain in Kerala for the last two days. Due to which this accident might have happened due to incidents of slipping on the road. The deceased include Lakshadweep residents Devnandan, Mohammad Ibrahim, Ayush Shaji, Srideep Valsan, Mohammad Jabbar who were studying in first year MBBS at Vandanam Medical College.
Inspection of CCTV cameras
According to Kerala Police, the control room received a call that a serious collision had occurred between a car and a bus. As soon as the information was received, the police immediately reached the spot. The trunk of the car was bent, so cutters were called and the bodies were taken out from the car. Also the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. Police are examining CCTV cameras for further investigation.
