Justin Trudeau resignation deadline: Amidst the ongoing diplomatic tension with India, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is facing difficulties in his own country. 20 MPs from his own party have asked him not to seek a fourth term and resign from the post of Prime Minister. Not only this, Liberal Party MPs have given Trudeau a deadline of October 28 to take a decision on this. Some MPs have even said that if Trudeau does not resign by this deadline, he may have to face serious consequences.

Trudeau's declining popularity becomes a problem

There is a huge decline in the popularity of Justin Trudeau and his Liberal Party in Canada, due to which the pressure is increasing on him to leave the post of Prime Minister. Trudeau recently met his party leaders, after which he said that the Liberal Party is strong and united. But 20 MPs of the party gave contrary statements.

These MPs have sent a letter demanding Trudeau's resignation before the elections. This letter was read at a meeting of the Liberal Party, at which it was debated for three hours. MPs urged Trudeau not to contest the next election and field the party with new leadership.

Questions were raised on Trudeau's leadership

According to media reports, Liberal Party of Canada MP Ken MacDonald, one of the 20 MPs, said, 'Trudeau should listen to the people. Also, considering the declining popularity of the party, I will not contest the next elections.

Trudeau has signaled his bid for a fourth term, although the Liberal Party has suffered defeats in recent by-elections in Toronto and Montreal, raising questions about Trudeau's leadership. Even in the latest survey, the Liberal Party is lagging behind the opposition Conservative Party.
