Hindu temple attacked in Canada: Canadian MP Chandra Arya has condemned the attack on Hindu-Canadian devotees by Khalistan terrorists at the Hindu Sabha temple complex in Brampton. Condemning the incident, he said, 'Khalistani terrorists have crossed the red line which shows the increase in violence in Canada.'
Canadian MP Chandra Arya wrote on the social media platform 'X', 'Today Canadian Khalistan extremists have crossed the red line. The attack by Khalistanis on Hindu-Canadian devotees at the Hindu Sabha temple complex in Brampton shows how violent and brazen Khalistani extremism has become in Canada.'
'Allegation of taking advantage of the freedom of expression law'
Chandra Arya further wrote on 'X', 'I think there is some truth in these reports that apart from the Canadian political system, Khalistanis have also infiltrated our law enforcement agencies. Khalistani extremists are taking advantage of Canada's freedom of expression laws and are getting free rein to do all this.
There have been many attacks on temples in Canada before.
Even before this, Canadian MP Chandra Arya had raised the attacks on Hindu temples in Canada. In July, Chandra Arya expressed deep concern over violence directed at Hindu-Canadian communities. Last year a Hindu temple was vandalized in Windsor, drawing widespread condemnation and calls for action from both Canadian and Indian officials. Temples were similarly targeted in earlier incidents in Mississauga and Brampton, drawing strong reactions from the Indian community in Canada.
