Police have arrested three Indian citizens in the Chakchari Hardeep Singh Nijjar murder case in Canada. According to the information, the police believe that the three arrested people are allegedly members of the group which was assigned the task of killing Nijjar by the Indian government last year.
In September last year, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had alleged that Indian agents were involved in Nijjar's murder. After this there was tension in the relations between India and Canada. India rejected Trudeau's allegations as 'absurd' and 'motivated'. News reports said police arrested the men on Friday during a search operation in at least two Canadian provinces. Sources said that a few months ago, the police had identified these people as a group of people involved in the murder of Nijjar and the police were keeping an eye on them.
