Canada: Public alienation from Justin Trudeau continues: Prepoll survey

Toronto: 70 percent of Canadians believe the country is broken. However, in pre-election surveys people press the none of the above button. However, most Canadians believe that Trudeau will not run again as Prime Minister of Canada.

A pre-poll survey that has just started has shown that most of the people of the country are turning away from Trudeau. Not only this, 70 percent people say that the country is broken, but Trudeau's Liberal Party also has 43 percent voters. In fact, they voted for the Liberals in the 2021 election.

The truth is that 60 percent people are unhappy with the way the country is being run. In 2023 their number was 51 percent. There has been an increase of 9 percent in 2024.

The matter is simple and straightforward. This trend is continuing and if it continues, Trudeau and his Liberal Party will be directly affected in the October 2024 election.

According to the survey conducted by Angus Reid Institute, the Conservative Party (Tory) is continuously leading in this survey. Besides, its leader Pierre Polibier is also ahead. The survey says that if elections are held today, only Polibier can become the Prime Minister. The Conservatives (Tories) have consistently led the Liberals over the past 12 months, with 40% of voters favoring them. While the Liberals and their leader Justin Trudeau have only 23% of voters.

Polling outlet Globe and Mail of Nano Reaches says that Poulivier's party, the Conservatives (Tories), has the support of 40.6% of voters. While the Liberals have only 23.8% support. 36 percent voters consider Polibier as the best Prime Minister. In contrast, Trudeau has only 20% support.

Agencies say there are five main reasons for the negativity towards the Liberals and Trudeau. (1) Rising inflation (2) Rising inflation (3) Poor health facilities (4) Housing shortage and (5) Rising unemployment.
