The campaign for the by-elections to be held on 9 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh has also stopped. The main contest in the by-election is between BJP, Samajwadi Party and BSP. On behalf of BJP, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself was taking charge of the election campaign. The 9 seats of UP where by-elections are being held include Katehari, Karahal, Meerapur, Ghaziabad, Majhwan, Sisamau, Kher, Phulpur and Kundarki.
