Koderma, August 1 (HS). With the aim of promoting women empowerment, under the Jharkhand Chief Minister Maiyaan Samman Yojana, financial assistance of ₹ 1000 per month is to be provided to women aged 21 to 50 years keeping in mind their daily needs. By the 15th of every month, the government will credit the amount to the single linked bank account of the sisters.

This is a very ambitious scheme of the government. All the officials should ensure that no beneficiary in your area is deprived of the benefits of this scheme. This instruction was given to all the officials by Deputy Commissioner Megha Bhardwaj on Thursday in a workshop organized in the conference hall of the Collectorate. The Deputy Commissioner said that Panchayat level camps are to be organized from 3rd to 10th August to link the beneficiaries with the scheme. For successful conduct of the camps, instructions were given to complete all necessary works on time and ensure wide publicity of the scheme. Deputy Development Commissioner Rituraj also said that this is an important scheme of the government.

Not a single eligible woman should be left out from taking benefit of the scheme and the camp should run smoothly. Assistant Director Social Security Cell Nitish Kumar Nishant said that free application form will be made available for the scheme through Anganwadi. Beneficiaries will have to come to the camps organized in the panchayats to submit the application. VLE will be there to enter the applications in the portal.
