Gurugram, 3 December (Hindustan Reporter). A 40-member delegation of administrative officials from Cambodia was present in the district on Tuesday to get acquainted with the administrative functioning of the district. The delegation discussed the administrative working system with the officials of the district administration. This event was organized as part of the 7th training program on Public Policy and Governance by the National Center for Good Governance (NCGG), Government of India.
He paid a courtesy call on Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar at the Mini Secretariat. After this, the delegation led by ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena gathered information about the administrative system, structure and working style of the district at the Additional District Deputy Commissioner’s office located at Vikas Sadan. During this, other departmental representatives gave information about the working style and arrangements of the concerned department. Le Kanika, Deputy Director General of Cambodia’s Tourism Department, represented the delegation. He greeted the administrative officials with Namaskar. All other representative officials of Cambodia shared information related to their departments. Representatives from tourism, education, sports and human resources of Cambodia were mainly involved in it. ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena said that 70 percent of the urban population lives in Gurugram. It shares its borders with Rewari, Faridabad and Nuh districts. He informed the delegation about the administrative structure of the district. During this, information was given about the work done at Mandal, District and Tehsil level along with the functioning of other administrative units at the district level like MCG, MCM, GMDA, HSVP, HSIIDC.
Brief information was also given about the works done at ADC level like PPP, Aadhaar, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, RTI and marriage registration. Mona, in-charge of the Rural Livelihood Mission of the district, talked about the issues related to providing necessary training and loans for livelihood to self-help groups. He said that this work is being done with 100 percent success in the district. Similarly, DK Verma discussed topics like employment availability, water resources management through MNREGA scheme. Executive Engineer Sudhir Mohana Agarwal from Zilla Parishad Office and Supervisor Shahid Ahmed from Police Department gave detailed information about women safety, Juvenile Justice Board for child crime control and crime control. Similarly, Ajay was present to give information about DRDA office. For better coordination with the delegation, Dr. BS Bisht, Chief Protocol Officer Anupama Malik and LO Rajpal Mor were present at the National Center on behalf of Good Governance. The Cambodia delegation visited the district’s Museum, Camera Center and Art Gallery after the administrative meetings. During this, information about historical photographs and art of the country was obtained. During this, Kalagram chief Shikha Gupta provided other information related to the art field to the delegation.
