Kanpur, 03 December (HS). To double the income of farmers, agricultural scientists of CSA are focusing on the same technology. Under this, a crop cafeteria has been built in Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Dalip Nagar under CSA. With this, farmers will be able to get information about selecting seeds according to the soil through new methods. Along with this, farmers will also be given information about diseases affecting crops etc.
A crop cafeteria has been set up for farmers at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra Dalip Nagar, operated under Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology (CSA), in which they will be given information about new species of seeds and plants. Besides, information about increasing income through crop management will also be given. On behalf of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, farmers are informed about crop management, species, soil and water conservation, pests, diseases etc. So that there can be good yield. Training is also given to increase the income of farmers. Farmers are taught new methods of seed selection in the Crop Cafeteria.
Centre’s scientist Dr Khalil Khan said that more than 20 newly developed wheat species have been sown by the university and other research institutes. In which farmers will be able to select climate and soil suitable species as per the requirement of the area. Center’s animal husbandry scientist Dr. Shashikant, SRF Shubham Yadav and Gaurav Shukla had special support in setting up the crop cafeteria.
