Cabinet reshuffle update: There is going to be a reshuffle in the cabinet of Punjab government today. In this, 4 ministers will be removed from the cabinet. Along with this, 5 MLAs will take oath as ministers. In this regard, the swearing-in ceremony will be organized at Raj Bhavan at 5 pm today.

Jalandhar West MLA Mahinder Bhagat said that he Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann I have received a call from him. He is reaching Chandigarh today at 12 o'clock.

According to the information received, 4 ministers will be removed from the cabinet. These include Balkar Singh, Chetan Singh Jodamaajra, Brahma Shankar Jimpa and Anmol Gagan Mann. All these ministers have resigned.

Brahma Shankar Jimpa was currently looking after the Revenue, Disaster Management and Water Supply and Sanitation departments. Along with this, Gagan Anmol Mann, MLA from Kharar assembly constituency, has been given the Labor and Tourism Department. Cabinet Minister Balkar Singh is an MLA from Kartarpur seat of Jalandhar district. He was looking after the Department of Local Bodies and Parliamentary Affairs in the Mann government.

The fourth name among the outgoing ministers is Chetan Singh Joda Majra. He is an MLA from Samana assembly seat of Patiala district. He was currently serving as the Minister of Horticulture, Defence Services Welfare, Freedom Fighters Welfare, Information and Public Reforms.

While Hardeep Singh Mundia, Barinder Kumar Goyal, Taranpreet Singh Saund and Mahendra Bhagat will join the cabinet. All these leaders will take oath as ministers at Raj Bhavan at 5 pm. The name of one MLA has been withheld.

Barinder Kumar Goyal Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is MLA from Lehragaga assembly seat of Sangrur, his home district. While Taranpreet Singh Sondh has been elected MLA from Khanna seat of Ludhiana. Mahendra Bhagat has won the by-election from Jalandhar. Hardeep Singh Mundia is MLA from Snewal seat of Ludhiana.
