During the rainy season, people are facing a lot of problems due to the widening work going on on many major roads in Sangam city for Maha Kumbh and the potholes on the damaged roads. There is also heavy traffic jam at many places in the city. Taking the problems and complaints of the general public seriously, Uttar Pradesh government's cabinet minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi has written a letter to the city commissioner on the bad condition of Prayagraj's roads. In which he has directed to get the damaged and pothole-ridden roads repaired by conducting an immediate survey.

Cabinet minister Nandgopal Gupta Nandi has written in a letter to Municipal Commissioner Chandramohan Garg that during his visit to various areas of Prayagraj City South Assembly constituency in the month of August, he received complaints of bad and damaged roads. The condition of roads in the old city is very bad. Roads have been damaged at many places. In the name of widening, pits are being dug and left. Due to lack of speed in the work, people are facing a lot of problems in commuting.

The roads of UPPSC crossing, Stanley Road, Balsan crossing are also in bad condition. Due to rain, potholes have formed on the roads. Due to which people are facing a lot of trouble in commuting. Due to bad roads, driving vehicles is also risky. Due to which the possibility of accidents remains high. In view of the problem of the people, the minister has instructed the Municipal Commissioner to conduct a quick survey of the roads and get them repaired with quality.
