Cabinet Minister Dhaliwal gave encouragement to the parents of Punjabi youth stranded in Russia, said- Government stands with the families

Kalanaur: Cabinet Minister to encourage the family of Gagandeep Singh, a youth of village Deriwal Kiran of block Kalanaur of border district Gurdaspur, who was forcibly recruited by the Russian Army and sent to fight in Ukraine. On Friday, Kuldeep Singh reached Dhaliwal village Dairywal Kiran. He assured Gagandeep's father Balwinder Singh and mother that the Punjab government stands with them. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Dhaliwal said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has specially sent him to encourage the families of the youth stranded in Russia.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is in constant touch with the Foreign Minister of India to bring the youth stranded in Russia and the Punjab government is trying to bring the youth to India. On this occasion, Gagandeep Singh's father Balwinder Singh told the Cabinet Minister that his son Gagandeep had gone abroad on 23 December on a tourist visa and yesterday it came to light that the passports of his son Gagandeep Singh and other colleagues had been forcefully confiscated by Russia. He was recruited into the Russian army and sent to fight against Ukraine.

On this occasion, he demanded from the Government of Punjab and India that his son should be brought home immediately. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that a youth recruited in the Russian Army is being searched in Ukraine. On this occasion, Dera Baba Nanak assembly constituency in-charge Gurdeep Singh Randhawa, Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Aggarwal, Chairman Ranjit Singh Bath, Jatinder Singh Happy Dairywal Kiran Block President Aada Aam Aadmi Party volunteers and district administration officials were present with him.
