By-elections announced in 14 states including UP Bihar

After a long wait, the Election Commission has finally announced the by-elections of some states. Along with the announcement of assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, by-elections are also to be held on 48 assembly seats in 14 states. The Election Commission has also announced the dates for the same. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar has announced by-elections in all the states including UP and Bihar.

Lok Sabha election announcement

The Election Commission has announced to hold by-elections for Wayanad Lok Sabha seat on 13 November. Whereas the by-election for Nanded Lok Sabha seat of Maharashtra will be held on 20 November 2024. The results of all these elections will be declared on 23 November.

By-elections on 10 seats of UP

By-elections will be held on 10 assembly seats of UP. The names of Sisamau, Katehari, Karhal, Kundarki, Phulpur, Ghaziabad, Majhwan, Khair and Meerapur seats are included in this list. In the last election, Samajwadi Party (SP) had won 5 seats, while 4 seats went to BJP and 1 seat to RLD.

7 assembly seats of Rajasthan

The Election Commission has also announced by-elections on 7 seats of Rajasthan. By-elections will be held on Khinvsar, Jhunjhunu, Dausa, Deoli-Uniara, Chaurasi and Salumber seats of Rajasthan. Talking about the last election results, Congress had won in Jhunjhunu, Dausa and Deoli-Uniara. Whereas BJP won in Salumber itself. Apart from this, RLP got 1 seat and BAP got 1 seat.

4 assembly seats of Bihar

In Bihar too, by-elections will be held on 4 assembly seats next month. The names of Tarari, Ramgarh, Belaganj and Imamganj seats are included in this list. In the last election, BJP had won Ramgarh and Belaganj, while CPI (ML) had won Tarari and HAM had won Imamganj.
