New Delhi, June 04 (HS). The Delhi High Court has rejected the bail plea of businessman Amandeep Dhal in the CBI case in the Delhi Excise Scam case. The vacation bench of Justice Swarnakanta Sharma ordered the dismissal of the bail plea.
The court said that Amandeep Dhal and his father are accused of bribing an ED officer with Rs 5 crore to remove their names from the case. This clearly means that the accused can influence witnesses and tamper with evidence. The court said that many witnesses in this case know Amandeep Dhal very well and he was in touch with Aam Aadmi Party leaders.
