Cylinder becomes cheaper by Rs 19 in Delhi, Rs 19 in Kolkata
According to the website of oil marketing company Indian Oil, the price of 9 kg commercial gas cylinder in the capital Delhi has decreased by Rs 19 (Delhi LPG price) from Rs 1764.50 to Rs 1745.50 since May 1. Similarly, the price of commercial LPG cylinder in Mumbai has decreased from Rs 1717.50 to Rs 1698.50. In Chennai also this cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 19 and its price has come down from Rs 1930 to Rs 1911. However, the price of commercial cylinder in Kolkata has been reduced by one rupee i.e. Rs 20 and the cylinder which was sold for Rs 1879 has now become priced at Rs 1859 here.
Prices have fallen significantly in the month of April
Earlier, on the first day of the new financial year i.e. 1st April 2024, oil marketing companies had given great relief to the consumers by cutting the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. After the cut, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder in the capital Delhi has decreased by Rs 30.50 to Rs 1764.50. Whereas in Kolkata the price of commercial cylinder fell by Rs 32 to Rs 1879. In Mumbai the cylinder price has decreased by Rs 31.50 to Rs 1717.50 and in Chennai it has decreased by Rs 30.50 to Rs 1930.
There is no change in domestic cylinder prices again
It is noteworthy that commercial gas cylinders are used for commercial purposes in hotels or restaurants. In such a situation, eating out may become cheaper due to reduction in its price. At the same time, this time also there has been no change in the prices of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder used in domestic kitchens.
According to IOCL's website, their prices remain unchanged. Its price in the capital Delhi is Rs 803 and for Ujjwala beneficiaries it is Rs 603. Like before, domestic cylinder is available for Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai and Rs 818.50 in Chennai. According to the information, giving a big relief on Women's Day, the Central Government has given a gift of reduction of up to Rs 100 in the price of 14 kg domestic gas cylinder (Domestic LPG Cylinder).
