Bus workers in Punjab are on strike for two months demanding salary, passengers are troubled

Fazilka: Punjab Roadways Punbus Employees Union has started a strike on Wednesday due to non-payment of salary. This protest is going on since morning.

Due to which people travelling to different places by buses are facing a lot of problems. On the other hand, the employees angry over not getting their salaries protested at the bus stand and raised slogans against the government.

Employees have not received salary for two months

On this occasion, the leader of the employee union, Udik Chand, said that the employees have not received their salary for the last two months. Due to which the employees are very upset. Despite informing the department officials in this regard, no solution has been found regarding the salary till now, due to which they have gone on strike.

Passengers were forced to return

He said that the provincial leaders of the union will have a meeting with the officials at around 2:30 in the afternoon. Only after this the next decision will be taken regarding the strike. At present they are protesting. On the other hand, passengers were seen returning due to the strike of the employees.

The maximum crowd was seen at the railway station. Due to non-availability of buses, people had to wait for trains for several hours while many people had to return.
