Bareilly, 20 May (Hindustan Reporter). The bus fell from the flyover after the bus driver fell asleep. There was screaming among the passengers after the accident. Police reached the spot and sent the injured to the hospital. One died on the spot in the accident. SSP Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan and District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar, who reached the spot after receiving the information, met the injured and inquired about their condition.
According to the information, the accident is said to have happened around 4 in the morning. The driver of the roadways bus coming from Delhi to Bareilly fell asleep near the flyover of Fatehganj West. Due to this the bus went out of control. Fell on Ballia Road under the flyover. There were 35 people in the bus. One died on the spot. Police reached the spot after getting information and admitted the injured to the hospital for treatment. The relatives of the deceased were informed.
Area Highway Officer Nitin Kumar said that the bus went out of control and fell down from the flyover near Fatehganj West of Bareilly Delhi Highway.
