Bus accident in Sultanpur: The bus of devotees going from Ayodhya to visit Kashi Vishwanath was hit by a truck from behind. Due to this, 38 devotees traveling in the bus were seriously injured. The injured were admitted to the local community health centre. Where the doctor described the condition of eight devotees as very serious and referred them to the medical college. All the devotees are from Maharashtra.
According to Ashwini Dongre, a female devotee traveling in the bus, on November 5, 47 people had set out for a pilgrimage from Kalyan in Maharashtra in a private bus. On Sunday, at around 11 o'clock, Kashi Vishwanath was going for darshan in Ayodhya after worship.
Driver Shambhaji and helper Manoj stopped the Maharashtra bus at a restaurant located in Tulsi Nagar of Lambhua on Lucknow-Varanasi four lane and went to have tea. Meanwhile, an unknown truck hit him hard from behind. There was already a truck standing in front of the bus, due to which it collided. 37 devotees including Nanda, Kamal, Laxman, Mathura, Ranjana, Kanta Tai, Ankush, Shobha Eknath Joshan, Sachin Ratna Paus, Lord Hiraman were injured in the accident.
Police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the Community Health Centre. Due to the high number of injured and shortage of beds in the hospital, the CO asked the Medical Officer to treat the injured in the women's wing also. Police said that eight seriously injured devotees have been referred to the medical college.
