Kathmandu: Nepal: The revered state of Lord Pashupatinath. Apart from this, most of the pilgrims visiting the birthplace of Lord Buddha are from India. They and the buses carrying Indian passengers only need to obtain a permit from the border post. Trade and exchange between India and Nepal has been going on for centuries, along with the unhindered movement of citizens.

14 Indian nationals among the passengers died when a bus carrying 40 passengers from Pokhara to Kathmandu fell into the Marsyagadi river. 17 were seriously injured. After learning this news, the Nepal Army immediately started rescue operations.

Officials said that the accident occurred when a bus numbered FT7623 registered in Uttar Pradesh fell into the river. Nepali soldiers rescued 16 people safely. These Indians were staying at Majeri Resort. The bus was carrying them to Kathmandu.

Nepal Armed Police Force spokesperson Kumar Nyayam confirmed the accident and said that 14 bodies have been recovered from the accident site. Apart from this, 16 injured people have also been rescued. He fears that the death toll may increase further. But now it is lying on the banks of the river.
