With the objective of encouraging the handicraftsmen of Bundelkhand region for entrepreneurship, training them, providing them employment and making them self-reliant by providing adequate market, a ten-day organization of Bundeli Handicrafts Fair Thematic Exhibition 2024 was organized at Bundelkhand University Campus under the Bundelkhand Mega Cluster Project of the Government of India. The Government of India is running various schemes for the development of entrepreneurship among the youth of the country. This thematic exhibition is being organized in the same context. This Handicraft Fair i.e. Thematic Exhibition 2024 is being organized under the aegis of Uttar Pradesh State Agriculture and Rural Development Corporation Limited, Lucknow. This fair has been organized in front of the Institute of Journalism of Bundelkhand University from 3 to 12 December. In this fair, handicraftsmen and entrepreneurs from all the districts of Bundelkhand are displaying carpets, carpets, wooden toys, stone sculptures, zari zardozi, sajar stone, various leather products, soft toys, Chiteri art, Chanderi embroidery, artificial jewellery, paper work, paper. 50 stalls of products were to be set up. However, this expectation could not be fulfilled due to some reasons. This fair was scheduled to run every day from 11 am to 9 pm. Later its time was changed to 11 am to 5 pm.
