Bank of Baroda (BOB), one of the leading and top public sector banks of the country, has released the official advertisement for Specialist Cadre Officer Recruitment 2026. Under the notification issued by the bank (Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/17), direct recruitment has been done for a total of 1100 vacant posts in Wealth Management Services and Corporate and Institutional Credit Department.
The official online application process for this recruitment drive has been activated from 4th September 2026. Eligible and interested candidates can visit the official career portal of Bank of Baroda and submit their online form till 24 September 2026 at 11:59 PM. September 1, 2026 has been considered as the cut-off date for determining eligibility, age limit and work experience. This recruitment is being done on Permanent Basis, which means the selected officers will receive all service benefits, pension and other allowances as per the rules of the Bank.
The 1100 posts advertised by Bank of Baroda are divided into two major cadres and pay scales:

Wealth Executive (JMG/SI): A total of 1,000 vacancies have been released under this post. This is a post of Junior Management Grade Scale-1. The basic pay scale of selected candidates starts from ₹48,480 going up to a maximum of ₹85,920 per month with regular annual increments.

Credit Analyst – C&IC – MMG/S-II: 100 vacancies have been announced for this post. This is a senior post in Middle Management Grade Scale-2. The basic pay of the officers selected on this post has been fixed in the pay scale starting from ₹ 64,820 to ₹ 93,960 per month.
Apart from the basic salary, the selected officers will be provided many facilities like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensation Allowance (CCA), Medical Expenses Reimbursement, Leave Travel Concession (LFC), Conveyance Allowance and loans at concessional rates as per the Bipartite Settlement between the Government and the Bank. The officers to be appointed can be posted in any corporate or zonal branch of the bank all over India.
Keeping in mind the responsibilities and scope of both the posts, the Bank has set different standards of educational qualification and experience:

For Wealth Executive Post: Candidate should have Graduation Degree in any stream from any university recognized by the Government of India. Along with this, it is mandatory for the candidate to have IC-38 certificate from Insurance Institute of India, or any one of NISM Series VA (Mutual Fund Distributor), NISM Series XXI-A (PMS Distributor) or NISM Series VD valid certification. Apart from this, minimum 2 years of work experience in selling wealth products in leading banks, financial institutions, broking firms or wealth management companies is required. Preference will be given to MBA (Finance/Marketing) or two year PG Diploma holders in selection.

For Credit Analyst (C&IC) Post: It is mandatory for the candidate to be a ‘Chartered Accountant’ (CA) along with graduation in any discipline. Along with this, it is mandatory to have minimum 1 year practical work experience of banking operations in a Scheduled Commercial Bank. CA candidates having experience in corporate credit appraisal will be given preference.
The age of the candidates will be calculated as on 1st September 2026:

Wealth Executive: The minimum age is fixed at 22 years and maximum age is 32 years.

Credit Analyst: The minimum age has been fixed at 21 years and maximum age at 33 years.
As per the reservation rules of the Central Government, relaxation in upper age limit will be provided to the candidates of reserved categories as per rules:

Relaxation of 5 years for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.

Other Backward Classes – 3 years relaxation for Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) candidates.

Additional age relaxation of 10 to 15 years will be given to the candidates belonging to Disabled category (PwBD) as per the category.

Ex-Servicemen will get age relaxation as per the guidelines of the Defense Ministry.
Selection for Specialist Cadre posts in Bank of Baroda will be based on a multi-stage evaluation process. After preliminary scrutiny of applications, an online written examination may be conducted by the Bank.

Online Written Exam Structure: The exam will be of total 120 marks, in which 120 multiple choice questions (MCQs) will be asked and the time given for it will be 120 minutes (2 hours). It will include four major sections—

Negative Marking: A negative deduction of 0.25 marks (one fourth mark) will be made for each wrong answer.

Interview and Psychometric Test: Candidates securing minimum cut-off marks in online examination will be called for Psychometric Assessment, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of combined weighting of written examination and interview marks.
