In view of this, from 10 am on Friday, the Nagar Palika team demolished the illegally occupied shops under the Rath Road Over Bridge of Orai. However, during this time there was a lot of debate between the traders and the Nagar Palika team, after which the help of the police had to be taken. Later, the police reached the spot and asked the encroachers to remove the encroachment on their own. During this, officials of the Nagar Palika and the district administration were present.
Meanwhile, City Magistrate Ajit Kumar Jaiswal said that people were given notice two days ago but they did not remove their belongings. The municipal team has been engaged in the proceedings since morning.
