‘Bulldozer action’ from Tatanagar to Karandih

If you have passed through Tatanagar station or Khasmahal area in the last 24 hours, you must have felt that the atmosphere there has changed. The administration has launched a major campaign to completely clear the possible routes through which the President’s convoy will pass.

  • Where the action took place: The campaign started near Jugsalai railway crossing and station. After this, the team reached Karandih Chowk via Parsudih, Khasmahal.
  • What was removed: During this time there were near roadside more than 200 Small and big shops, kiosks, carts and illegal constructions were removed. At many places where there were concrete constructions, JCB machines had to be used.

Why was so much strictness shown?

Madam President’s convoy is likely to pass through this route on December 29. They are located in Karandih ‘LBSM College’ And will participate in the programs there.
As per security protocol, it is important that there is no crowd on the VVIP route and the roads remain wide and clean so that the convoy can pass without any hindrance. Keeping this in mind, Railway Engineering Department, RPF and local police together took this joint action.

Strict warning to shopkeepers

Along with taking action, the administration has also given a strong message. While announcing through the loudspeaker, the officials clearly said that if anyone again tries to set up a shop or stall on the road by December 29, then this time they will not only be removed, but the goods will be seized and legal action (FIR) will be filed. The SDO office and the traffic DSP themselves are keeping an eye on the entire system.

City beauty and safety priority

Although the removal of encroachment has definitely caused problems to some poor shopkeepers, this step is being said to be necessary due to this program of national importance and for security reasons. Due to the roads being empty, the traffic has also become smooth. Now the whole city is waiting with bated breath to welcome its ‘daughter’.
