Budget of Rs 998 crore passed in the 108th board meeting of MDDA, Transport Nagar Scheme to be handed over to Doon Municipal Corporation

Dehradun, March 11 (HS). The 108th board meeting of Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority was held in the authority auditorium on Monday under the chairmanship of Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey. A total budget of Rs 998 crore of the authority was approved in the meeting.

It was decided in the board meeting that the Transport Nagar Scheme of the authority will be handed over to the Municipal Corporation Dehradun. For this, first joint inspection of Transport Nagar will be conducted with the officials of Municipal Corporation Dehradun. If any work is found incomplete on the spot, it will be handed over to the Municipal Corporation after completion.

A total of 60 issues related to maps came up in the meeting. These included cases related to resorts, hotels, farm houses, commercial buildings. It was decided to dispose of these cases on the basis of merits. Apart from this, it was decided to purchase two Innova cars, one Scorpio and one JCB for the authority office.

Authority Vice Chairman Banshidhar Tiwari, Additional Secretary Housing Atar Singh, Deputy Secretary Deepti Singh from Finance Department, Chief City Planner Shashi Mohan Srivastava, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Bir Singh Budiyal from Municipal Corporation etc.
