Dehradun, 01 March (HS). The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) expressed happiness over the passage of the budget, calling it the foundation of a great state. Describing the attitude of the opposition as disappointing, he said that instead of discussing the budget that would fulfill the aspirations of the people, they preferred political uproar in the House and on the streets.
BJP President Mahendra Bhatt said in a statement that it is regrettable that instead of discussion, those who created ruckus and boycott are now complaining about lack of time in the session. They also make a mockery of Gairsain and demand that the session be held in Dehradun and their MLAs make it the permanent capital.
BJP President Mahendra Bhatt said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dhami, the BJP government has once again taken another decisive step towards a developed Uttarakhand by bringing an all-inclusive, all-touching and development-oriented budget. We hope that the provisions made in the budget for poor welfare, industrial development, tourism, urban development, rural development, infrastructure development etc. will help in bringing the goal of a better state closer.
Taking aim at the opposition, he said that duplicity is clearly visible in their behavior inside and outside the House. Their MLAs, whom the public elected to raise their problems in the House, to discuss health in determining the state's development policy, continued to do politics even inside the Assembly. At the same time, their leaders, who were rejected by the public in the elections, continued to masquerade as fake MLA ministers on the streets of Gairsain. The people of the state have once again seen the double character of the Congress Party and how they insult constitutional traditions both in the House and on the streets. Outside on the streets and in front of the media, Congress leaders try to get public sympathy by talking about Gairsain, while in Dehradun they write letters for the session.
He said that Congress does not have issues nor is it concerned with public concerns. This is the reason why their aim is to create ruckus both in the House and on the streets. Our government is committed to the development of the state and the welfare of the people and will make good use of this budget passed by the House to achieve this goal.
