Mirzapur, 12 November (HS). A meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Bahujan Samaj Party’s divisional in-charge Harishankar Singh Chauhan at the office of Nagar Panchayat Kachwan of Majhwan Assembly. Former minister and chief divisional in-charge Ashok Kumar Gautam held a meeting with the presidents and booth presidents of Sector 1 to 15 of Zone No. 1 of the assembly constituency and infused enthusiasm among them.

He said that the public has seen parties like BJP, SP, Congress etc. These parties are working to spoil the social brotherhood by raising Hindu-Muslim and casteist issues. BSP national president and former Chief Minister Mayawati is contesting the elections on issues like education, security, health and employment etc.

The National President had declared Deepak Tiwari alias Deepu as the candidate three months before the elections. Reached every village and street of the assembly and did public relations. People of all sections of society have made up their minds. Workers and officials should tighten their belts. By pressing the button with blue flag and elephant symbol on 20th November, BSP has to win with a huge majority. Divisional in-charge Baijnath Gautam, Madhya Pradesh candidate Deepak Tiwari, District Vice President Saddam Raine also expressed their views. During this, former District President Kunjbihari, District Panchayat members Jaishankar Pal, Ramlal Pal, Sanjay Prajapati, Kallu Pal, Ashok Shastri, Hanuman Maurya, Sunil Kumar etc. were present.
