Garg, Inspector General, Frontier Headquarters Border Security Force, Rajasthan and under the direction of Ajay Luthra, DIG Bikaner Sector and in the presence of Sanjay Tiwari Commandant 124th Battalion, BSF officers and jawans planted 500 saplings today as part of a massive tree plantation campaign at the BSF campus located at Sagar Road, Bikaner.
On this occasion, while addressing the officers and soldiers, Commandant of 124 Battalion Sanjay Tiwari said that trees not only help in keeping the environment clean, but also ensure a better future for our future generations. He also said that given the way the temperature is rising, if every person does not understand his responsibility towards plantation, then its consequences can be fatal. The region of Bikaner, which is known for its dry climate and desert terrain, the presence of trees becomes even more important here. This effort of BSF will help in strengthening the local ecosystem and will prove to be a positive step towards making Bikaner a green place.
