Recently, a mother and her 13-year-old daughter, who were infiltrating the international border in Tripura, were killed in firing by BSF jawans.

BSF jawans handed over the body of the minor

According to media reports in Dhaka, the BSF handed over the body of the Bangladeshi minor to the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Tuesday night, 45 hours after the incident. He has been identified as 13-year-old Swarna Das. He died in alleged firing by the BSF.

Alleged entry from Kulora Upazila on Sunday night

Kulora Police Station in-charge Binay Bhushan Roy confirmed the handing over of the body and said that after completing the necessary legal formalities, the body has been handed over to Sageera's family. He was shot dead by BSF jawans when he tried to infiltrate. Others were also reportedly entering India from Kulora Upazila on Sunday night.

The mother barely escapes and the broker flees

BGB jawan Shikdar said that a flag meeting was held between BGB and BSF to resolve the situation. The girl was identified as 13-year-old Swarna Das. She was the daughter of Porendra Das, a resident of Kalanigar village of Juri Upazila of West Juri Union. Swarna and her mother were trying to enter India illegally to meet their elder son living in Tripura. In which the help of two local brokers was taken. When he reached the Indian border at around 9 pm, the BSF jawans started firing. In which Swarna died. However, her mother barely survived. The broker who smuggled them into India was absconding.
