Bareilly: Sajid, one of the killers of the brutal murder of two children in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, was killed in a police encounter just hours after the murder. While the search for the second accused is going on. The situation in Badaun is tense after this massacre. The killer was running a salon parlor in the same area where he had committed the murder. Angered by the murder of children, the family set fire to the killer's shop. Sajid was helped in the murder by his brother Javed. Police got information about Sajid and chased him, during which there was a face-to-face firing and the accused died in the encounter.
According to Badaun police, 22 year old accused Sajid used to run a salon parlor in Baba Colony area of Badaun. Recently he has opened this shop. Sajid along with his brother Javed entered the house of Vinod Kumar who lived in front of the shop. Vinod Kumar was not there in the house, only his wife and three children were there. Later Sajid attacked 12 year old Ayush, eight year old Ahaan and 10 year old Yuvraj with a knife. Ayush was stabbed five times while Ahaan's throat was slit. Yuvraj was also stabbed. Two children died in this attack while the third child is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.
After committing the murder, Sajid and Javed escaped. Bareilly IG RK Singh said Sajid fled into the nearby forest area, later chased by SOG and a police team. When the police tried to arrest him, Sajid opened fire. Sajid was killed in the encounter. While the police is searching for Sajid's associate Javed who was involved in the murder. The police have now arrested Sajid's uncle and father. When his brother has run away. After this incident, the relatives of the dead children set Sajid's shop on fire. It has been said in the complaint that after committing the murder, Sajid told the grandmother and mother of the dead children in the house that today he has done his work.
In the complaint lodged by the father of the deceased children with the police, it has been said that Sajid demanded Rs 5,000 from my wife who had come home and said that he needed the money for the delivery of my wife who was admitted in the hospital. When my wife went to the room to take money, Sajid went to the second floor of the house and killed my children. And then ran away, investigation revealed that Sajid's wife was not in the hospital and was in good health. The police have now started investigating the root cause behind the murder. A few hours after the murder, Sajid died in an encounter. Local DM Manoj Kumar took cognizance of this encounter and ordered a magisterial inquiry. Also, DMA has asked the City Magistrate to submit the investigation report within 15 days.
