Brother killed by attacking his sleeping brother with a wooden hammer at home, arrested | News India

Amritsar : In Saisran Kalan village under Jhander police station, a brother attacked his brother with a wooden hammer and killed him. After committing the robbery, the accused fled, but the police have arrested him.

As soon as the incident was reported, Jhandir police station in-charge Kamalpreet Kaur reached the spot with the police force and investigated the incident and took the body into custody. After post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the heirs.

The police have registered a case against the accused and arrested him. The accused has been identified as Balbir Singh, resident of Saisaran Kalan. The deceased has been identified as Nirmal Singh (41). Both lived together in the house. At present, the police will present the accused in the court, after which he will be taken on remand and interrogated.
