Moradabad, 30 April (HIST). A woman resident of Pakbada police station area accused her brother-in-law of molesting her and threatening to kill her if she protested. When she asked both of them to complain to the police, accusing her father-in-law of trying to rape them, the husband gave her triple talaq and threw her out of the house. On Tuesday, based on the complaint of the victim woman, the police registered a case against the accused husband, father-in-law and brother-in-law and started investigation.
She told that on May 16, 2023, she was married to a young man resident of the village of Chhajlat area. The woman says that her brother-in-law has been keeping an evil eye on her ever since her marriage. Whenever she was alone in the room, her brother-in-law used to come and molest her. He also threatened to kill if he protested. My father-in-law had left his wife nine years ago and he also kept a bad eye on me.
It is alleged that at 12 o'clock in the night of March 27, when she was alone, her father-in-law entered the room and tried to rape her. When she screamed, her husband and other in-laws came and everyone pacified her. Threatened to beat me to death the next day. The husband gave triple talaq and threw her out of the house, after which the victim lives in her maternal home. In this matter, on Tuesday the police station has registered a case against the accused husband, brother-in-law, father-in-law, aunt, mother-in-law and sister-in-law.
