Ludhiana: On Saturday, most districts of the state received light rains while some parts received rains. Fatehgarh Sahib recorded 49.5 mm of rain during the last 24 hours. The highest temperature of the day was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius in Ludhiana. After this, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius in Faridkot, 35.2 degrees Celsius in Bathinda, 33.8 degrees Celsius in Ferozepur and 33.5 degrees Celsius in Gurdaspur.
During the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in the state has increased by 0.4 degree Celsius, which remains close to normal. The Meteorological Center Chandigarh has not issued any alert for the coming days.
