On Tuesday (April 16) morning, a fire broke out on the second floor of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) office located in the North Block of the Central Secretariat. Due to this, there was a crowd in the office and the fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire after a lot of effort. Giving this information, the fire department official said that there is no news of any casualty in this fire.
A fan also caught fire along with some computers and documents.
According to the information, a senior official of Delhi Fire Service (DFS) said that after receiving the information, seven fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and the fire was brought under control by 9.35 am. According to DFS, the fire was reported at around 9.20 am on the second floor of IC Division of the Home Ministry office, following which the fire personnel brought the fire under control by 9.35 am.
