CBI on Thursday, April 11, 2024 arrested K Kavitha, daughter of former Telangana CM KCR, in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. BRS leader K Kavitha is currently in judicial custody. On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, the court extended Kavita's custody till April 23 and she was produced before the court at the end of judicial custody.
Court on Monday refused to grant interim bail to Kavita
Court on Monday 8th April. Refusing to grant interim bail to Kavita, he said that prima facie it appears that she has tried to influence the witnesses. Apart from this, an attempt has also been made to destroy the evidence. In such a situation, if they are given relief then they can do this in future also. Actually, ED has alleged that Kavita is a member of the southern group involved in the Delhi Excise Policy case.

ED has said that Kavita is a key member of the South faction who is accused of paying a bribe of Rs 100 crore to Delhi's ruling Aam Aadmi Party AAP to get a majority stake in liquor licenses.
Money laundering case related to Delhi liquor policy
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia are in jail in a money laundering case related to Delhi Liquor Policy. The Central Investigation Agency has claimed that there has been alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the liquor policy. The ED named AAP national convenor Kejriwal as the main conspirator in the case and said that many party leaders and ministers were also involved in it. On the other hand, K Kavita and AAP denied all these allegations and said that this action is being taken out of political vendetta.
