Brajesh Pathak in action mode, orders dismissal of 26 doctors | News India

Lucknow, 02 September (HS). Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak is in action mode. Major action has been taken in the health department. Action has been taken against 26 doctors in the state due to negligence towards duties, continuous absence from duty and continuous disobedience of higher orders. Giving them a one-month notice, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has given instructions to the Principal Secretary, Medical and Health to immediately dismiss them from government service. The Deputy CM says that negligence in medical work will not be tolerated.

Brajesh Pathak says that the government is committed to providing high quality health services to the people of the state. Any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in this. The doctors who have been ordered to be dismissed include Medical Officer of Community Health Center, Konch, Jalaun, Dr. Prashant Pathak, Medical Officers under Chief Medical Officer, Bareilly, Dr. Imran Khan and Dr. Surabhi Gupta, Medical Officer of Primary Health Center, Chillaunsa, Mainpuri, Dr. Anuj Kumar, Medical Officer of Primary Health Center, Saman Kishani, Mainpuri, Dr. Rajkumar and Community Health Center, Kalpi.

Similarly, instructions were issued to dismiss Medical Officer of Jalaun, Dr. Yasmun Akhtar Siddiqui, Medical Officers under Chief Medical Officer, Siddharthnagar, Dr. Praveen Anand, Dr. Neha Sinha, Dr. Jyotsava Ojha, Medical Officers under Chief Medical Officer, Lalitpur, Dr. Shubhanshu Shivhare, Dr. Vivek Kumar Gautam, Dr. Mohammad Hasim, Medical Officers under Chief Medical Officer, Ballia, Dr. Pramod Kumar, Dr. Pooja Singh, Medical Officer under Chief Medical Officer, Basti, Dr. Amod Kumar Saroj, Medical Officer of Primary Health Center, Kusmura, Mainpuri, Dr. Mohammad Salim, Community Health Center, Jagatpur.

Apart from this, instructions have been issued to dismiss Medical Officer of Raebareli, Dr. Dhirendra Kumar, Medical Officer of Primary Health Center, Matka, Raebareli, Dr. Priyanka Soni, Medical Officer under Chief Medical Officer, Raebareli, Dr. Shubhendra Kumar Maurya, Medical Officers under Chief Medical Officer, Mathura, Dr. Trishala Bhadkariya (Pathologist), Dr. Abhay Garg, Community Health Center, Sirsaganj. At the same time, Medical Officer of Firozabad, Dr. Amit Kumar Singh, Medical Officer of Primary Health Center, Anandpur Jarkhi, Firozabad, Dr. Anuj Kumar Gautam, Medical Officer of Primary Health Center, Khairgarh, Firozabad, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Medical Officer of Primary Health Center, Bachgaon Kotla, Firozabad, Dr. Himanshi Sagar, Medical Officer of Primary Health Center, Bachgaon Kotla, Firozabad and Dr. Srishti Singh under Chief Medical Officer Firozabad are included.

action on dental surgeon

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has directed the Principal Secretary, Medical and Health to dismiss Dr. Poonam Pal, dental surgeon posted at Community Health Center, Payagpur, Bahraich for remaining absent without notice, indiscipline and disobeying high orders.

Instructions for issuing chargesheet

Instructions have also been given to the Principal Secretary Health by Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak to immediately issue chargesheets to six medical officers, including Medical Officer, Community Health Center, Haroda, Saharanpur, Dr. Pravesh Kumar Bhatia, Medical Officer In Charge, Primary Health Center, Devidaspur, Bahraich, Dr. Prashant Srivastava, three medical officers posted under CMO Bareilly, Dr. Amit Kumar, Dr. Divya Gaur and Dr. Shashank Verma, as well as Medical Officer Dr. Rizwan Ahmed Khan posted under CMO Shahjahanpur, for being negligent towards government duties.

Explanation sought from Joint Director

Instructions have also been given to the Principal Secretary Health by Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak to seek clarification from Dr. Neena Verma, posted as Joint Director in the Directorate General of Health, regarding the matter of not deploying any medical officer in the Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandir established in Nautanwa, Maharajganj, while being posted as Chief Medical Officer, Maharajganj in April 2024, not making the center functional and not running government schemes.

Two salary increments stopped

Due to negligence in discharging their medical duties, two increments of three medical officers have been stopped for two years. These include medical officer Dr. Manisha Agarwal posted under CMO Firozabad, medical officer Dr. Sameer Gupta posted under CMO Baghpat and medical officer Dr. Shilpi Sonkar posted under CMO Kanpur Dehat. Dr. Shilpi Sonkar has been given a censure entry along with the punishment of stopping two increments for two years.
