Dhamtari, 12 October (Hindustan Reporter). On the occasion of Dussehra festival, Vijayadashami festival was celebrated in Shivaji Prabhat branch. Weapon worship was performed on the occasion of Vijayadashami festival. Sangh volunteers arrived at Shivaji Prabhat branch at 6.30 am on Saturday. After the flag salute, solo song and group song, followed by Amrit Vachan, the guests lit lamps and worshiped Mother India and Sangh's founder Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and Guruji. After that the weapon symbolizing bravery was worshipped.
The chief guest of the Vijayadashami Mahotsav program was Municipal Association Driver Ramlakhan Gajendra. While senior volunteer Vinod Rao Ransingh was present as the keynote speaker. Main speaker Ransingh explained the importance of weapon worship. He said that before the king went to war, the scriptures were kept well and worshiped. Now is not the time for arrows and swords. Now the times are slowly changing. Today there is a need for education. Now by educating the society, the society and the nation can be taken forward. If the society is weak, people will try to suppress it. Therefore, there is a need for the Hindu society to remain united and move forward. If someone tries to suppress Hindu society, there is a need to counter it. To protect religion and society, both weapons and scriptures are needed. This means that weapons are essential for self-defense and Shastra (education) is essential for the upliftment of the society. After the address, prayer for the union was offered at the end.
