Palamu, June 5 (HS). Police have arrested the two accused who had come to kill Murari Tiwari, a resident of Redma in Daltonganj city police station area. The magazineless pistol and motorcycle used in the murder have been recovered from them.
On the evening of May 30, two criminals who came on a bike in Redma tried to shoot Murari Tiwari. The first round of firing did not fire, while the second round did not fire because the magazine of the pistol fell. In fact, when Murari Tiwari was being shot for the second time, he pushed the shooter. However, Roshan Kumar Jailhata, a youth who was doing recce of the spot, was arrested. On his information, Saddam Hussain alias Laddu Khan (34) of Naya Mohalla Chainpur and Mohammad Nazim (25) of Pahadi Mohalla Gamhel, Sthan Shahar Thana, involved in the crime, were identified. The police team was engaged in their arrest.
SDPO of Medininagar Manibhushan Prasad said in a press conference at the city police station on Wednesday that Saddam and Nazim, who were absconding, have been arrested. Both were arrested from Redma Chowk. A pistol without magazine and a Pulsar motorcycle used in the incident have been recovered from them.
SDPO said that investigation is being done to find out why Murari Tiwari was shot. It has not been clear in the initial investigation. More people are involved in this incident. In such a situation, the police team will clarify the matter soon and will also tell the reason for the murder and getting it done.
