Dhaka, 05 October (HS). Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has arrested four people, including three women, while trying to enter India illegally through Panchbhulet border at Sharsha in Jessore. All of them were caught from a field near Panchbhulet border at around 7.30 pm on Friday evening.
Those arrested include 20-year-old Apu Das, Arpita Shikdar, 30, 37-year-old Manjushree Jwardar and a 14-year-old girl, Dhaka Tribune newspaper reported. Khulna 21-BGB Battalion Captain Lieutenant Colonel Khurshid Anwar confirmed the arrest of the four. He said all four have been handed over to Sharsha police station.
