Bomb threat on 2 more international flights coming to Mumbai

Mumbai – The threats looming over flights have given sleepless nights to agencies and left passengers worried. On Thursday, two more international flights coming to Mumbai received bomb threats. Even after the arrest of a teenager from Chhattisgarh who had earlier issued empty threats, flights are receiving threats. Due to this, destruction keeps happening again and again. After nine flights in three days and 19 flights in 24 hours, two more flights are under threat.

Earlier on Wednesday, seven flights of IndiGo and SpiceJet Chakasa had received similar bomb threats. The Vistara flight from Frankfurt to Mumbai had 134 passengers and 13 crew members. The airline said the flight was immediately taken for a security check after receiving a bomb threat.

At the same time, a bomb threat was received on an Indigo flight coming from Istanbul, Turkey to Mumbai. Then he was taken to a secluded place for investigation.

The airline said flight UK 28 from Frankfurt to Mumbai on October 16 received a security threat on social media.

Therefore as per protocol all concerned authorities were immediately informed. The aircraft landed safely at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

Vistara said in a statement that the plane was taken to a deserted area and all passengers were deboarded. Keeping security in mind, we are giving full cooperation to the security agency.

Whereas the plane that took off from Frankfurt on Wednesday made an emergency landing in Mumbai at 7.45 am on Thursday.

IndiGo said in a statement that flight 6E18 from Istanbul to Mumbai received a security alert. The passengers were safely deboarded from the plane.
