Bollywood stars will gather in the 'Pink City' Jaipur in March next year. An agreement was reached on Sunday to host the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), the biggest award of Hindi cinema.
Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari was also present at the ceremony held at Albert Hall in Jaipur. Tourism Commissioner Vijay Pal signed the MoU for this 25th IIFA Award Show. IIFA Vice President Suresh Iyer was present on this occasion. The event will be held in Jaipur from 7 to 9 March next year. The IIFA Award Show will be held at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) for three days from March 7. This will be held in India for the second time, earlier it was held in Mumbai in 2019. Hosting IIFA in Jaipur is expected to be beneficial in terms of tourism and industry. Tourism industry experts say that the arrival of celebrities will increase the demand of domestic and international tourists. The Jaipur Literature Festival is the most important event ever held internationally in Jaipur.
Deputy CM Diya Kumari said, 'The 25th edition of IIFA being held in Jaipur is an important event from the tourism point of view. Today we have signed an MOU with the IIFA team. Jaipur will be the second city in India to host IIFA. This is an initiative of Rising Rajasthan. This event will be held in March. There will be many investments here in terms of entertainment and tourism. This will be a three-day award ceremony. There will be music awards on one day. IIFA Vice President Suresh Iyer said that film awards will be held the next day.
