Bokaro, 27 July (HS). Recently on 18 July, Shankar Rawani, a resident of Mahuar, was shot dead. On the written application of the deceased's brother, Harla police station case number 78/24 and section 103/61 (2) BNS and 27 (3) Arms Act was registered. In this case, the police have arrested five accused including the main conspirator of the case Rajendra Dubey alias Raju Dubey and Ashok Singh alias Ashok Samrat.
The arrested accused include Rajendra Dubey alias Raju Dubey, Ashok Singh alias Ashok Samrat, Prakshit Singh alias Raja, Shyam Kumar Rawani and Amit Kumar Rawani. During interrogation, the arrested accused Raju Dubey told that this incident was carried out in connivance with Ashok Samrat with the help of shooters to maintain supremacy in the contracting of S Pond. On the information given by Ashok Samrat, TVS Apache bike, car, mobile phone etc. used in this incident were recovered. Continuous raids are being conducted against other absconding accused. The arrested criminals and the deceased Shankar Rawani also have a criminal history.
